Ingredients of Kesari Bath

  1. You need 1 cup of Rava/sooji.
  2. It's 1 cup of sugar.
  3. You need 100 ml of ghee.
  4. Prepare 25 ml of oil.
  5. It's 3 Cups of water.
  6. You need 5 of cashews.
  7. Prepare 5 of Raisins.
  8. It's 1/2 tsp of cardamom powder.

Kesari Bath step by step

  1. Take a pan, add 1 tspn ghee and roast the cashews and raisins till it turns to golden brown and move it to a bowl..
  2. In the same pan,add one more tspn of ghee and add 1 cup rava/sooji and roast it in a medium flame. Rava/sooji colour shouldn't be changed but the aroma should come out of it. Transfer it to a bowl..
  3. In the same pan,add 3 cups of water and boil it. (1 cup rava-3 cups of water) Add 25ml of oil and 50ml of ghee to it and mix it well. Add a pinch of colouring agent (yellow or orange). It's optional..
  4. Rava/sooji should be added after the mix boils well like in the picture..
  5. Mix the rava well without leaving any lumps. It will quickly absorb all the water. Add 1 cup sugar and 1 tspn ghee and saute it well..
  6. Add the roasted cashews and raisins and again add 1 tspn ghee and mix it well. keep it in low flame for two to three minutes..
  7. Transfer it to a plate and cut them into pieces and enjoy your Kesari 😊.

Rava kesari bath is a very quick to make dish so it can be made as naivedhyam in a jiffy for festivals like navratri, ganesh chaturti etc too.
