Shitor(Ghanian black sauce). This flavorful Ghanaian black chili oil/sauce - SHITO pays homage to my mother's original recipe. The inclusion of the delicious beef and shrimp bits, allows this condiment to be used in a variety of ways, and compliments any dish that requires a bit of a delicious kick/heat.   3. Prepare 1 TSP of crayfish.
  4. Prepare 1 tsp of dried fish.
  5. Prepare 1/2 cup of veg oil.
  6. It's 2 of maggi star cube.
  7. You need of Spices of choice.
  8. You need of Tomatoes (optional).
  9. Prepare of Ginger paste(optional).

Shitor(Ghanian black sauce) instructions

  1. Pound/grind ur cayenne peppe(barkonu) to a smooth powdered form,slice one and a half onions and add to d grinded pepper n pound till d onions is well mixed wv d grinded pepper. Add ur sour less tomatoes (optional) n grind till smoothness is achieved.
  2. Heat oil in a pan,add half of the sliced onion n stir,allow it saute not burnt. Add up ur puree,crayfish,dried grinded fish n keep stirring it. Add ur seasonings,spices of choice,ginger paste n keep stirring over medium heat till u have brownish or reddish a brownish den its well fried..
  3. Allow to cool n Serve with anythn of ur choice.. This can stay for more dan a month if its well fried without reheatn. No water is added when preparing.
  4. Its sweet,aromatic n super delicious.
