- You need 1 cup/bowl of chopped pineapple.
- Prepare 1/2 cup of semolina/suji.
- Prepare 1/4 cup of ghee.
- You need Pinch of saffron threads.
- You need 1/4 cup v of sugar.
- It's 4 tbsp of milk for soaking saffron.
- You need of Some Almonds and cashews chopped.
Usually I make Pineapple Kesari just by adding Pineapple essence and yellow food color to the normal rava kesari. I have never tried it with Pineapple chunks. - First in a pressure cooker add chopped pineapple along with 1 cup of water and 2-3 tbsp of sugar...Cook for 2 whistle...(can be also cooked in microwave till soft).
- Soak saffron in milk for atleast 30mins..
- Now heat a pan with 2 tbsp of ghee...Add suji and roast for 2 min on low flame..
- Take roasted suji out in a plate..
- In the same pan add 1 cup water and let it boil..Add roasted suji and saffron milk....
- Stir quickly to avoid lumps...and cook covered for 2 mins....
- Add cooked pineapple along with it's sugar syrup..
- Again stir well..Add remaining ghee, sugar and chopped nuts... stir...and Cook for another min..
- After a min switch off the flame...
- Delicious pineapple kesari bath is ready to serve...
