- Prepare 4 tablespoons of Ghee.
- It's 1 cup of Sugar.

- Prepare 6 of Cashewnuts.
- It's 20 of Raisins.
- Prepare 1/2 tsp of Elaichi powder.
- You need few of Saffron strands.
The pudding is made with roasted vermicelli cooked until it is soft and sweetened with sugar. It is then topped with roasted cashew nuts and raisins. It is a variation to the semiya payasam. To keep it healthy you can also add some jaggery.

- Fry vermicelli with 2 tsp ghee..
- Then add milk and cardamom powder..
- Put 1 spoon ghee and fry cashews and raisins..
- When sewai turns soft add water/milk.
- Again cook for 5 minutes..
