Ingredients of Kesari Badam Pista Milk
- Prepare 1/2 litre of full fat milk.
- Prepare 1/2 cup of crystallized sugar (rock candy).
- You need 1 of big pinch of saffron strands soak in 1 tbsp hot milk.
- It's 2 tbsp of badam,pista, elachi powder(homemade).
- Prepare of Pistachio flakes for garnish.
You can drink this chilled or hot. You can serve the glass of drink with a scoop of ice-cream. Children will gulp it down without fuss and their daily nutrients are also met. Add them in a blender and make a smooth paste.
Kesari Badam Pista Milk step by step
- Soak saffron strands in hot milk for 5 mins,grind to smooth paste in marble handgrinder..
- Pour milk in thick bottom vessel,add crystallized sugar, saffron-milk mixture,badam-pista- elachi powder and keep on low flame to boil, stirring continuously,so it doesn't stick to the bottom of vessel..
- Boil for 5 mins... stirring continuously..
- Serve/ Relish Hot Kesari Badam Pista Milk.. garnishing with pistachio flakes..
Now boil milk and add the badam paste in the boiling milk. Add sugar and cardamom powder and saffron strands soaked in milk. Cook the milk for some time and then serve chilled or hot. Saffron, cardamom, ginger, fennel and poppy seeds add a deep flavor to the mix. Pistachios by themselves are insanely delicious blended into non dairy milk.
