- Soak rice of good quality for about an hour and then grind very fine with 4-5 tableapoons of cold water to a paste..

- Mix the rice paste with remaining 3 cups milk in a heavy bottomed pan. Cook on medium heat, stirring continuously, till the mixture is of creamy consistency..
